Yes, but we encourage students to be thoughtful in considering their options before we process their admission through the Graduate Admission Program.
Students can start in any semester for which the program offers regular admission. Students can also decide to defer their admission to an earlier or later semester, if needed.
If you decide not to enroll or want to pursue a different program, just let us know. There is no penalty for doing so until after the add/drop date for the semester once you register for classes.
Please contact Graduate Admissions to see if you are eligible for admission to the program you are interested in. If the program doesn't offer assured admission, you may need to submit a regular admissions application.
Keep an eye on your ODU email! You may already be eligible for direct admission.
Your future in graduate school could be just one “yes” away.
