Old Dominion University’s Applied Research Center (ARC) is one of 12 institutions selected to receive the Gentec-EO Laser Lab Award, which includes a QE25LP-H-MB-INT-D0 laser energy meter. This pyroelectric energy detector is used by students to characterize femtosecond laser sources at ARC.
The donation aligns with ARC’s mission to train graduate and undergraduate students while fostering collaborations with national laboratories and industry partners. The new energy meter will expand ARC’s optical measurement capabilities and enhance hands-on learning opportunities for students engaged in laser-based measurements.
