ODU Perry Honors College Scholarships

The Perry Honors College provided individual mentoring to exceptional ODU undergraduates seeking merit-based, nationally-competitive prestigious scholarship and fellowship awards to fund graduate education, pursue research opportunities and projects, and gain high-level work experience.

Barry Goldwater Scholarship

DoD STEM Scholarships

Department of Defense scholarships provide cash awards to students who have demonstrated ability and aptitude for excelling in STEM fields in disciplines of importance to DoD.

DoD Smart Scholarships

SMART Scholars enter the program to pursue their education in some of the leading STEM fields currently in high demand by the United States Government. The program offers scholarships for bachelors, masters and PhD students pursuing STEM

Dr. Celeste Belcastro Scholarship

The Hampton Roads Section of Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will be awarding one $1250 scholarship to a qualified and deserving undergraduate female engineering student.

American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) Scholarships

IEEE Power & Energy Society Scholarship

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Power & Energy Society is offering up to $7,000 and assistance with career experience opportunities to qualifying electrical engineering students.

Federal Fellowships

ASEE administers a number of fellowship and research opportunities with funding provided by the Federal agencies including the Department of Defense (DOD), NASA, and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Ford Foundation Fellowship

Through its Fellowship Programs, the Ford Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation's college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.

Undergraduate Conference Travel Grants

Supporting undergraduate students' travel to local, regional, national and international conferences sponsored by professional organizations for the purpose of reporting the results of their research, exhibiting or performing creative works, disseminating results of their scholarly activity, or attending in order to further their education.

Undergraduate Research Grants

This university program provides a grant for undergraduates conducting original research, scholarship, or creative work under the mentorship of a full-time faculty member.

Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) in Multidisciplinary Cybersecurity

VSGC awards over $325,000 in scholarships & fellowships to students majoring in a STEM field. The Undergraduate STEM Research Scholarship Program provides a one-year scholarship of up to $8,500 to support undergraduate students actively engaged in a research project with a faculty mentor.

Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP)

The Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) provides an opportunity for college students to participate in research at a Department of Navy (DoN) laboratory during the summer.
