I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business Analytics in the Department of Information Technology & Decision Sciences within the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University. I received my PhD in Supply Chain & Operations from Carlson School of Management and MS in Statistics from School of Statistics at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. I obtained my BS in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University.

My research interests lie at the intersection of healthcare service delivery and health information technologies (IT), with a particular emphasis on fulfilling the demands for healthcare services from the underserved communities and reducing disparities in healthcare delivery. My recent research - situated in the context of mental (behavioral) healthcare operations - investigates whether and under what conditions emerging health IT (e.g., mobile apps, chatbots, telehealth) can be leveraged to deliver effective and equitable mental health services to the underserved populations characterized by their gender, sexual orientation, and race-ethnicity. I am also conducting research in broader contexts such as U.S. federal government procurement.

M.S. in Statistics, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, (2024)
