Old Dominion University is proud to announce its annual Summer Cyber Camp, which will be held from July 14 to 18, 2025. The Camp offers middle and high school students a dynamic, hands-on introduction to the world of cybersecurity.
Comprehensive Curriculum
Students will explore key cybersecurity concepts, including:
- Computer forensics
- Cryptography
- Online ethics
- Penetration testing
- Network security
Interactive Labs & Technical Challenges
Campers will work in virtual environments on real-world scenarios like:
- Traffic analysis
- Access control
- WiFi password cracking
- Multi-layer firewall protection
Engaging Experiences
The camp also includes:
- Expert-led lectures and industry panels
- Field trip to ODU’s state-of-the-art Data Center
- Robotics-focused lessons with Zumi cars
- Live cyberattack demos and a Zumi racing challenge
