Summer Cyber Camp

The ODU Summer Cyber Camp offers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience covering key cybersecurity topics such as computer forensics, cryptography, online ethics, penetration testing, and network security.

Middle and high school participants engage in interactive labs on virtual environments, including exercises on traffic analysis, access control, WiFi password cracking, and multi-layer firewall protection.

The camp features expert-led lectures, industry panel discussions, and a field trip to the ODU Data Center.

Students also explore cybersecurity concepts through robotics with Zumi car lessons, attack demonstrations, and a racing challenge.

Additional activities include cybersecurity games, a Cyber Camp Poster Show, a Jeopardy tournament, and a final award ceremony, ensuring an engaging and immersive introduction to cybersecurity.
