How to Apply to Graduate School

Applying to graduate school may seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! Join CDS as we break down the whole process into 7 key steps:

1. Choose which programs you want to apply for.
2. Plan out the timeline for your application.
3. Request transcripts and recommendation letters.
4. Take any standardized tests that the program requires.
5. Write your resume or CV.
6. Write your statement of purpose and/or personal statement.
7. Prepare for interviews, if relevant.
