Robert S. Corn was reappointed to the Board of Visitors on July 1, 2025, by Governor Abigail Spanberger. He was originally appointed to the Board of Visitors on January 1, 2018, by Governor Ralph Northam and was reappointed to a second four-year term on July 1, 2021. He previously served on the Board's Administration & Finance and Governance Committees and asChair of the Student Enhancement & Engagement and Digital Learning Committee.
Corn serves as the president of Landmark Strategies LLC, a business consulting firm specializing in growth strategy, client development, and strategic advisory services. The firm works with emerging and established businesses to enhance growth plans, expand client relationships and monitor external policy factors.
He previously served as the president of Landmark Strategies, Inc., a national issue advocacy, grassroots engagement and campaign voter contact firm. In his former position, Robert worked with organizations to help engage their members in the electoral and legislative process. He has consulted on the campaigns of numerous current and former elected officials serving at the local, state and federal level.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California in 1982 and he received a Master of Business Administration from the College of William &Mary in 1995.
Robert resides in Springfield, Virginia, with his wife Eileen Filler-Corn, the former Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates. They have two children and one is a graduate of Old Dominion University.
