Virginia Sea Grant has 2 different fellowship applications open:
1) The 2026-2027 Commonwealth Coastal & Marine Policy Fellowships with opportunities to work for Virginia state agencies has applications due May 1
2) The 2027 Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship with opportunities to work for either the legislative or executive branches of the federal government in Washington, D.C. area has applications due June 3, 2026. Any student who is interested in applying should reach out to Virginia Sea Grant's Lisa Eddy at lmeddy@vaseagrant.org as soon as possible and she will get them paired up with one of their Knauss Fellowship alumni who will help them with their application packet.
