Calling all students, faculty, and staff: Mark your calendars! You are encouraged to attend the 37th annual Research Day event in Waitzer Hall (medical campus) on Friday, November 21, 2025. This year we have 204 poster presenters eager to talk about their research, so we need lots of students, faculty, and staff to attend the poster sessions!
Here’s what you can expect at Research Day:
- Starting at 10:30 AM, 1st and 2nd floor lobbies – come early to grab the swag!
- Learn about research services and core facilities available at our institution
- Support our corporate sponsors by visiting their tables.
- 12:00 – 2:30 PM, Room 300 – attend the oral presentations
- Pizza served starting at 11:50 AM
- Announcement of faculty award winners
- Keynote lecture “Metastatic Journey Through the Fluid Microenvironment of the Circulation” by Dr. Michael Henry
- Platform presentations by five selected learners with top abstracts in their categories
- 2:45 – 4:45 PM, Rooms 100 and 200 – attend the poster sessions. We need everyone’s support!
- There are two distinct 1-hour poster sessions
- Interact with our learners and show your support for their hard work
- Participate in voting for the People’s Choice Poster Award – Bring your mobile device to rate the posters you view
- Enjoy refreshments served in the 2nd floor lobby
- 5:00 – 5:15 PM, Room 300 – attend the Poster Award Ceremony
