We are excited to announce that the Ellmer School of Nursing is offering a spring semester enrollment for the pre-licensure nursing program!

 

This cohort of students will begin their nursing courses JANUARY 2026. You can find the application for ODU and the requirements for pre-licensure nursing at: https://www.odu.edu/nursing/undergraduate/application-process/prelicensure

 

The application deadline is Sunday, October 19th at midnight.

Step 1- Apply to ODU if you aren’t already a student. ODU Admission is required to complete the nursing application. https://www.odu.edu/admission/undergraduate

Step 2- The Ellmer School of Nursing Application

·        The following courses must already be completed: ENGL 110C, STAT 130M, PSYC 203S, SOC 201S, CHEM 105N/106N, BIOL 150/151, BIOL 240 or 250. Grades of C or

higher in each course AND a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher for these courses are required.

·         The only requirement you may have in progress this fall is A&P II (BIOL 241 or 251). All gen-eds including the upper division (Option D or Minor) must be completed in Fall 2025 to be eligible to begin the nursing program in Spring 2026.
