First Ascent trips are designed to bring new students experiencing their first year at ODU together in the outdoors! If you qualify, we encourage you to sign up to meet other Monarchs and enjoy a weekend in nature. Register on the ODU Rec Well Portal beginning August 23.
First Ascent: Backpacking at XYZ Location
This trip is for students experiencing their first year at ODU! We're headed out to XYZ to enjoy great views! Beginners are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Your trip registration fee includes transportation, meals, equipment rentals, and the guidance of a knowledgeable trip leader. More information will be provided to those who register.
