1 week faculty exchange to Japan

Short-Term Faculty Exchange to the University of Kitakyushu

The University of Kitakyushu (UKK) has offered ODU the opportunity to send one faculty member to teach a brief American society/American culture related course to their students in summer 2025.

This is a chance to spend a week in Japan at our partner university in Kitakyushu.

Costs are equally shared between ODU and UKK

This program is open to full-time faculty members from Humanities, Social Sciences, and Liberal Arts.

When:    Classes will be taught August 18 to 22, 2025

Where:  The University of Kitakyushu, Kyushu Island, Japan
