Dr. Kimmel's edited book, Supporting Students' Intellectual Freedom in Schools: The Right to Read has been released.  Sue Kimmel, along with Library Science adjunct, Samantha Hull and former student, Dr. Danielle Sachdeva edited a call to action for teachers, school librarians, administrators and scholars who are facing a surge in censorship attempts.  This book tackles the trend of book challenges as well as the shrinking of students' rights to choose what they want to read.   The book is published through IGI Global and can be purchased through Amazon.
