Funding your education should fit your life, not slow it down. At Old Dominion University, ODUGlobal supports online learners with financial aid options built for flexible, accelerated study, plus guidance to help you make confident choices about paying for school. Explore estimated costs, review financial aid options for online students, and get connected with guidance to help you move forward with a clear plan.
At a Glance for ODUGlobal Students
Many online students are continually enrolled, taking courses throughout the summer to earn the ODU degree more quickly. In many cases, summer financial aid is available, often through federal loans and, for some students, a Federal Pell Grant. If you are enrolled in an eligible format, Old Dominion University may use a borrower-based academic year (BBAY) approach for federal Direct Loans. In plain terms, BBAY can align your loan eligibility to your actual enrollment cycle, so you may be able to use financial aid for summer coursework instead of waiting for a traditional fall-to-spring calendar to “reset.”
