African American Women’s Histories is a digital collection of primary source materials from our partners at AM Digital. The collection brings together personal collections, professional papers, and organizational records that illuminate the intellectual work, social activism, cultural expression, and everyday lives of African American women during the 20th century. This resource offers the opportunity to explore how these women shaped, and reshaped, the social, political, and creative landscapes of modern America.

This recently published collection is the latest AM Digital title to be added to ODU Libraries’ collection. African American Women’s Histories is available to the ODU community online and can be found on the Libraries’ Databases A to Z page, along with all 80 AM Digital collections.
