Experience an unforgettable evening of diverse works as emerging and established artists expand the boundaries of dance. The University Dance Theatre (UDT) Concert presents original choreography in a variety of dance styles, such as modern dance, jazz and contemporary ballet, performed by Old Dominion University (ODU) students. The dances are choreographed by guest artists and ODU dance faculty.
Join us November 18-21 for an extraordinary celebration of movement, artistry and innovation at our UDT Fall Concert!
From powerful storytelling to bold, high-energy works, this concert showcases the creativity, versatility and passion of our university dancers. Each piece represents months of artistic exploration and collaboration culminating in a vibrant, must-see performance.
This dynamic performance features original works choreographed by our talented faculty (Rebekah Chappell, James Morrow and Janelle Spruill) and special guest artist, Nate Odell. Odell will be setting a new contemporary dance work on ODU students and performing a solo created by James Morrow.
