Faculty and staff are invited to join the Women's and Gender Equity Center and the 757 Line Dance Network for an evening that brings together line dancing, community, and LGBTQ+ history. During a guided tutorial, participants will learn line dances while hearing stories from ODU’s queer history and the broader LGBTQ+ community. The program offers a chance to reflect on the importance of music, gathering spaces, and shared traditions as sources of connection, resilience, and joy.
No dance experience or partner is needed. Whether you join in on the dance floor or participate from the sidelines, you’re welcome to learn and connect at your own pace.
