Join the ASERL Scholarly Communication Interest Group and librarians across the Southeast (including an ODU librarian!) for a short, fun, and interactive virtual escape room during Open Access Week. Participants will collaborate to solve open-access challenges and “free” a scholarly article from behind a paywall by navigating repositories, copyright, Creative Commons licenses, and legitimate access paths. Along the way, you will collect clues, learn practical information about open scholarship and scholarly communication, and perhaps even win a prize.
