Description: The Quantum Week 2026 Workshop: Physics, Math & Computing will help students connect concepts from their coursework to quantum science and technology. Through guided examples and hands-on activities, participants will explore quantum physics, learn to interpret quantum mathematical notation, and develop introductory quantum computing skills, including working with quantum gates, building simple circuits, and using Qiskit. Research Computing demonstrations will introduce relevant tools and resources, while quantum researchers will walk participants through more advanced programs, explaining how they work and connect to research applications. Students will have opportunities to ask questions and receive guidance throughout the workshop. All majors and experience levels are welcome.
