Celebrate Earth Day at Old Dominion University!

Old Dominion University’s Earth Day celebration will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year’s theme, Planet vs. Plastics, highlights the importance of reducing plastic pollution and protecting our planet.

Join us for an exciting, expanded event featuring hands-on interactive activities, planetarium shows, local expert talks, and a Kids Zone—including Humphrey, our 55-foot inflatable whale (weather permitting)—plus much more for all ages to enjoy.

The event will be held on ODU’s campus at 4600 Elkhorn Avenue, with activities and presentations located in the Oceanography/Physics Building and the Chemistry Building.

To attend, please email oesadmin@odu.edu to be added to the RSVP list. Stay tuned for more details and updates.

We look forward to celebrating Earth Day with you at ODU!
