Deadline: Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific Time
Gilman Eligibility:
- Undergraduate students on a Pell Grant.
Gilman-McCain Eligibility:
- Undergraduate students who are dependents of active military personnel and receive title IV financial aid.
Both scholarships provide from $5,000 to $8,000 to study or pursue a credit-bearing internship abroad.
This application cycle encompasses programs during the following terms:
- Maymester 2026
- Summer 2026
- Fall 2026
- Academic Year 2026-2027
- Spring 2027
If an applicant was not selected or declined an award during a previous application cycle, they may re-apply for the March 2026 application cycle as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements and their program falls within the start dates.
