Gov. Glenn Youngkin ordered that the United States, POW/MIA and Virginia flags are to be flown on all local, state and federal buildings and grounds in the commonwealth in memory and respect on National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
The POW/MIA flag shall be included on flagpoles from sunrise to sunset on Sept. 16.
