Composition & Representation
Senators are elected from each University Division to ensure proportional representation according to size.
Each Division has a minimum of two (2) Senator positions, with additional positions allocated according to staff counts:

Staff counts are requested annually from the Division of Talent Management and Culture, and adjustments are reviewed biennially. Updates are published on the Monarch Staff Senate website.
The maximum number of additional seats allotted per Division is no more than seven (7) Senators.
Membership by Division
This section will provide the number of Senator positions allotted to each division, as well as the elected representatives, once division staff counts have been verified by Talent Management and Culture, and elections have been completed.
