The following elements must be completed before an invitation to interview can be granted to the applicant:
- Complete and submit the online application and application fee. Apply by:
- Nov. 15th for early decision
- Feb. 1st for regular admission and Early Assurance Program
- Apr. 15th for international applicants who will require an F-1 Student Visa to study in the United States.
- Application submissions before February 1st will be given priority. Application submissions after February 1st will be considered on a rolling basis.
- Submit two references from individuals who are acquainted with you academically and/or professionally. References from close friends and family members are unacceptable.
- Submit a personal statement that describes how or why you want to become an art therapist and your future goals.
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
- Please complete your application early to ensure your preferred interview date. Invitations to interview will be sent out once your application is reviewed.
The all-day in-person interview dates are as follows:
- Friday, January 29, 2027
- Friday, February 26, 2027
- Saturday, February 27, 2027
- Friday, March 5, 2027
Official transcripts should be submitted electronically through GradCAS. If you experience technical difficulties or related problems in completing your online application, contact the applicant help center.
