The BSSF Autoclave Facility is a regulated medical waste treatment facility that operates under the guidelines of the Department of Environmental Quality. We have a department autoclave slot available for Biology labs to submit small dry materials for autoclaving. The tray is located on the shelves outside MGB 207.

The lab PI is responsible for training new personnel and maintaining standards for our Autoclave Facility. The lab PI must train the new personnel, have them sign your lab’s training form, then resubmit the form to the BSSF.
