Scholarships, Assistantships & Financial Aid

The Office of Student Financial Aid supports the mission of the University by assisting students and families seeking educational programs at Old Dominion University. The Office administers financial aid programs funded by federal, state, University, and private sources in the form of grants, federal work-study programs, and merit and need-based scholarships.

Scholarships are gifts. They don't need to be repaid. There are thousands of them, offered by ODU, employers, individuals, private companies, nonprofits, communities, religious groups, and professional and social organizations.
