This is a one-hour roundtable conversation with Professor Thaddeus Mason Pope, JD, Ph.D., HEC-C, one of the nation's leading scholars in medical law and clinical ethics with a special focus on patient rights, healthcare decision-making, and end-of-life options. This is designed for hospital, university and medical school ethics committee members; clinical ethics consultants; physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in complex end-of-life decision-making; and faculty with an interest in healthcare ethics. It will provide an opportunity to move beyond the Department of Medicine Grand Rounds lecture and engage directly with Professor Pope around real-world ethical, legal, and clinical challenges - including approaches to preventing conflict, navigating disagreement, and supporting fair resolution.
