After a team of faculty and students of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering won NATO Innovation Challenge in 2017 , NATO Innovation Hub supported Prof. Ghaith Rabadi to take the proposed idea from a concept to a product that can help humanitarian organizations respond more effectively to disasters through the use of simulation and optimization. The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers published an article in its monthly magazine that reaches over 50 thousands members on the evolution of the project and the capabilities of the iHELP platform.
