Alumni Spotlight: Strome's Adeja Spain '17 Makes ODU's 40 Under 40 List
Bio: Adeja M. Spain is from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is a proud graduate of Old Dominion University, where she received her BSBA in Digital Marketing. Adeja's career began in Charlotte, North Carolina, where an internship with the Charlotte Hornets lead to a full-time position, and ultimately a long-standing career with the organization. She worked in the Hornets' Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Arena Operations departments.
Adeja is relocating to Los Angeles, California as the Manager of Brands at Wasserman Media Group where she will manage Microsoft's partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA).
While her passion is marketing, her purpose is to make an impact. As a rising entrepreneur, Adeja is building her business, Sparked by Spain, LLC, where she helps clients "spark" their brand and events by taking them to the next level. Driven to achieve stellar results, Adeja is best known for constantly innovating new tactics and strategies to reach entertainment consumers by creating multi-faceted campaigns across traditional and digital media.
In her free time, Adeja enjoys early morning workouts, podcasting, and hanging out with her "nephboo", Caiden.
