The 2026 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) has Started
Dear Monarchs,
We are excited to announce the launch of the 29th Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC), a safe, simple, and meaningful way to support the causes that matter most to you.
Last year, 8.5% of state employees raised an amazing total of $769,700.80 for charities having an impact in Virginia. This year, our goal is $850,000 with 10% employee participation, and we look forward to sharing progress updates throughout the campaign.
How to Give
Now through December, you can give to any of the 695 approved charities in one of three ways:
- Payroll deduction: Set it up once and give automatically. This is the easiest and most consistent way to support charities throughout the year.
- Credit card: Make a one-time donation quickly and conveniently.
- Reporting a direct gift: If you have already donated to or volunteered with a charity, you can report it, so it counts toward the campaign total.

Key Dates to Remember
Please keep the following dates in mind regarding giving options:
- Payroll Deduction: Submit your pledge by December 15, 2026, at 11:59pm.
- Credit Card Donations: Make your gift by December 31, 2026, at 11:59pm.
