The Instructional Design team will explore strategies for using Canvas assignments, discussions, and the gradebook to support student engagement and success. Using the principles of backward design, this session will cover best practices for creating varied assessment types, organizing assignment groups, and configuring gradebook settings. Participants will leave with strategies for building a clear and organized assessment framework in Canvas.
