The Faculty Mentoring Advisory Group will assist in the planning and phased implementation of a program of mentorship for faculty. It will also support and foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within our faculty community.
The group will:
- Provide advice to aid the development and implementation of a mentoring program
- Support the creation of a pragmatic evaluation plan for the program
- Create programming and activities to raise awareness and support implementation of the program
- Facilitate relationship building to support the growth of the program
- Participate in the planning decisions regarding the program such as the type of mentoring model to be utilized
- Identifying infrastructure needed to implement the program including a multi-year roadmap to guide towards full implementation
