Join us for a conversation with Tom Allen, Professor in the Department of Political Science & Geography, and George McLeod, Director of the Center for Geospatial & Visualization Computing. This talk provides an update on the local research on sea level rise at Old Dominion University, describes new innovations in mapping that integrate technology (drones, flood maps, computer models, and street level sensors) being developed to predict impacts and inform policy, and furthers discussion of the hard questions and decisions that are to come.
