- Join us for presentations by local experts on how to identify, engage and compete for DoD basic and applied research funding. Tenure-track faculty from all colleges are encouraged to attend. Topics will include an overview of the DoD budgeting process, mapping resources to requirements, identifying existing research opportunities and generating new ones, health, education, and social science research with military populations, partnering with industry, and leveraging ODU’s proximity to Naval Station Norfolk and other military installations.
