The event was hosted over two days by ODU's Diehn School of Music. Nearly 1,000 singers, teachers and accompanists, ranging from high school age through post-graduate (masters level), participated

Magnusson took first place as the Best College Woman overall in the Upper Level (junior/senior). Elliot won the College Senior Men Musical Theater division. He also placed second in the Senior Men Classical competition. Their instructor is Agnes Fuller Wynne.

Loyola placed first in the Post-Graduate Women Musical Theater competition and second in the Post-Graduate Women Classical division. Her instructor is Brian Nedvin.

Other ODU students who earned recognition at the event:

  • Rachel Bradley: Post-Graduate Women Musical Theater, second place.
