Description
The ODU Jazz Choir, under the direction of Professor John Toomey, performs concerts every semester both on and off campus. The Jazz Choir also performs as part of the Diehn Concert Series with a guest artist each spring. The Old Dominion University Jazz Combo under the direction of Professor John Toomey will perform several selections from the swing era through contemporary jazz. This group features numerous instrumentalists, as well as vocalist Kristiana Jones, and is not to be missed. The ODU Jazz Orchestra, directed by Dr. Doug Owens, is featured in multiple concerts every semester, performing standard and contemporary big band originals and arrangements.
