Ryan Speedo Green is a Grammy winner, he just completed his 100th performance at the Metropolitan Opera this fall, he performed over 250 performances at the Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna, and he is the topic of a NY Times best-selling book "Sing For Your Life", detailing his journey from a trailer park in southeastern Virginia to the Met stage. He also made appearances discussing his story on CBS This Morning, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and 60 Minutes. Ryan Speedo Green is and international opera star who grew up in our area!
