Our spring brass concert celebrates the upcoming Tidewater Brass Institute, which will be held on our campus June 14-20.

Tonight's concert will feature TBI Faculty: Sam Huss, trumpet; Dakota Corbliss, horn and Sam Ambrose, tuba; alongside the ODU Brass Choir, Brass Quintet, Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble and Sacbut Consort. The groups will present classic music for brass, jazz and a wide variety of arrangements.
TBI is a week-long, chamber brass camp with guest artists featured in concert and master class each day, culminating in a participant concert. Particpants will receive expert coaching in rehearsals. All ages are welcome although the institute is primarily geared toward high school level players who want to advance their brass playing skills, learn new repertoire and have tons of fun making new friends around brass music!
