In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, join us for a hands-on workshop focusing on designing your flyers for events and announcements with accessibility in mind. Learn about the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards driving accessible design and how they fit into ODU requirements.
By the end of the session, you’ll be able to:
- Use different accessibility checkers
- Use design tools such as Canva to create accessible PDFs
- Move towards compliance with existing policies and procedures
A personal laptop and the full version of Adobe Acrobat is required for the hands-on experience (free to ODU Faculty and Staff upon request).
Lunch provided for in-person attendees.
