Build a welcoming and connected digital learning environment with this hands-on Canvas session. Faculty will explore best practices for establishing instructor presence and supporting student success in the digital workspace.
Participants will work with key course elements, including the Canvas User Profile, Notification preferences, course home page, “Start Here” module, and announcements, to create a stronger digital presence and build community with students. The session will also cover accessibility best practices and strategies for creating a consistent communication rhythm throughout the course.
By the end of the session, faculty will have a functional and welcoming course foundation that helps foster connection and engagement with students.
