Vanessa Druskat, PhD, is Associate Professor at The University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. She is an award-winning researcher and teacher, and a globally recognized expert on team collaboration who advises leaders in some of the world’s most admired organizations (e.g., Ferrari, Amazon, and MLB’s Toronto Blue jays). Vanessa’s three decades of field research explore team cultures that set high-performing collaborative teams apart from average teams across industries. This led to the development of the team-level emotional intelligence model that she shares in her book, The Emotionally Intelligent Team: Building collaborative groups that outperform the rest, (Harvard Business Review Press, 2025).
