At this event Dr. Jonathan Leib, Professor and Chair for the Department of Political Science and Geography, will discuss the politics of the landscape, place, and debates over Confederate monuments in a time of heightened anxiety and Dr. Annette Finley-Croswhite, Director for Center for Faculty Development and Professor of History, will address post-traumatic slave syndrome (PTSS), trauma pedagogy, and reducing student invisibility in our classrooms.
