While randomized controlled trials (RCTs) remain the gold standard for testing the effectiveness of an intervention or treatment, they are often resource-intensive and not practical for many. This nine-session series is intended to introduce or refresh your memory on methods that advance science and produce real world impact, no RCT needed. We will cover topics from working with small sample sizes to artificial intelligence to publicly available datasets.

This series will run biweekly between August 26 and December 16, occurring every other Wednesday at noon. Stats Snacks are intended for learners at most levels, from medical students looking to get a jump on research skills to faculty members looking to try something new.
