Summer 2027 Congressional Internships in Washington, D.C.

Interested in spending Summer 2027 working on Capitol Hill?

ODU students interested in internships with members of the U.S. Senate or U.S. House of Representatives are invited to attend a virtual information session on Friday, October 2. Learn what congressional interns do, when to begin applying, how to prepare a competitive application, and what to expect from an internship in Washington, D.C. We will also share information about a special ODU support initiative for students who secure Summer 2027 internships with a member of the Virginia Congressional Delegation. Selected students may be eligible for housing in Washington, D.C. and a monetary stipend to help make the experience more accessible.

Students from all majors are encouraged to attend.
