Call for Applications: 2026 Staff Dream Fund
Old Dominion University is pleased to announce that applications are officially open for the Staff Dream Fund!
Privately funded through an Educational Foundation Endowment, the Staff Dream Fund provides eligible employees with monetary awards and/or paid time off to fulfill a long-held personal aspiration. Whether your goal is to travel abroad, dive into a personal study, or reconnect with family far away, this program is designed to help bring your vision to life.
Key Details & Deadline
Submission Deadline: September 14 at 5:00 PM
Eligibility: Full-time classified staff and Administrative & Professional (A/P) faculty with a minimum of five consecutive years of full-time service, satisfactory performance evaluations, and no active disciplinary actions.
Application Requirements:
- Completed online proposal (including a thorough description of your dream and a financial/budget plan)
- Statement of intent to remain at ODU for the foreseeable future
- Letters of support from both a direct supervisor and an ODU colleague
