Old Dominion University had a busy week as it celebrated "Building Our Dominion." Dedications and ribbon cuttings were held for the Chemistry Building and the Hugo A. Owens House. The Health Sciences Building groundbreaking was unveiled through a video presentation. Old Dominion University always looks to find ways to bring the community to campus. The Market on Monarch Way is just another example. The small but growing community market of local farmers and artisans will be held weekly. As the weather gets nicer, it's a great way to spend a Saturday morning supporting local small businesses.
