Old Dominion University music performance students had an opportunity of a lifetime Tuesday at the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center. The Grammy Award-winning Chicago-based supergroup Eighth Blackbird held a master class for ODU's students. One of the most dynamic contemporary classical ensembles, Eighth Blackbird is known for performing from memory, employing choreography and collaborations with theater artist, lighting designers, and even puppetry artists.
