The Old Dominion University Presidential Search Committee will meet on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 8:55 a.m. The Committee expects to hold most of the meeting in closed session, pursuant to §2.2-3711.A.29 of the Code of Virginia The Committee will conclude its meeting in open session; the time of the return to open session is uncertain, but will not occur before 12:00pm.
Pursuant to § 4-0.01(g) of Chapter 1289 of the 2020 Acts of Assembly, the Committee will meet by electronic communication means, without a quorum and without any committee members physically assembled at one location, to discuss or transact business statutorily required or necessary to continue operations of the Board of Visitors and the discharge of its lawful purposes, duties and responsibilities.
