The vision of the University Compliance Department is to establish a university compliance program with continuous improvement toward mature and leading practices. The program will aim to enhance the compliance culture at Old Dominion University by

  • promoting awareness of compliance risks and responsibilities,
  • improving communication and coordination,
  • monitoring and assessing for continuous improvement, and
  • supporting compliance owners with their responsibilities.


The mission of the University Compliance Department is to establish centralized oversight of university compliance activities to reduce risks of non-compliance while increasing the likelihood of early detection and prevention.
